1. Favourite childhood book?
I guess most of them are Enid Blyton, Bailey School Kids and Nancy Drew. Can't choose one.

2. What are you reading now?
Currently reading Drifting House by Krys Lee and my literature text, 'An inspector Calls".

3. What books do you have on request at the library?
None.

4. Bad book habit?
I hoard books. And a little overly conscious about the state of them.

5. What do you currently have checked out at the library?
Drifting House and Norwegian Wood.

6. Do you have an e-reader?
Nope, but I want a kindle.

7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
Preferably one at the time because if I read several at once, I tend to forget what happened in the previous book.

8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?
Firstly, I rarely updated this blog before lol.
Secondly, not really.

9. Least favourite book you read this year.
Some book that was translated from japanese to chinese.

10. Favourite book you've read this year?
'The Interestings" by Meg Wolitzer.

11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?
Define comfort zone? But I guess not often.

12. What is your reading comfort zone?
Literary fiction I guess.

13. Can you read on the bus?
Definitely!

14. Favourite place to read?
On the train.

15. What is your policy on book lending?
I can lend books BUT no dog-ears, no folding of pages, no scribbling on pages, no bending of book covers, no breaking of the spine of my book. The exact same condition I lent it to you.

16. Do you ever dog-ear books?
NEVER.

17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books?
NO. Unless you count my literature texts lol.

18. Not even with textbooks?
Maybe.

19. What is your favourite language to read in?
English.

20. What makes you love a book?
The characters must be interesting, not flat and the writing/style of the author. I also like it when a book surprises me.

21. What will inspire you to recommend a book?
When I absolutely love that particular book.

22. Favourite genre
Um... Possibly literary fiction?

23. Genre you rarely read(but wish you did)?
Science fiction.

24. Favourite biography.
I don't really read biographies.

25. Have you ever read a self-help book?
Of course! In fact I love reading them; they're pretty interesting actually.

26. Most inspirational book you've read this year(fiction or non-fiction)?
Um, I dont really have one. Because the books I read don't come across as inspirational to me.

27. Favourite Cookbook?
Don't have one, honestly.

28. Favourite reading snack?
Almonds, raisins and M&Ms lol.

I would say there wasn't a case like that haha.

30. How often do you agree with critics about a book?
I don't read critics for books; it's mostly for movies or dramas.

31. How do you feel about being bad/negative reviews?
Just be honest and straightforward about it. I'm sorry but it's the truth.

32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you choose?
Japanese. French would be okay too. Oh and Korean lol.

33. Most intimidating book you've ever read?
Don't really have any.

34. Most intimidating book you're too nervous to begin with.
'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde'.

Um... I don't really have one, sadly.

36. How many books do you usually have checked out of the library at any given time?
One or two. I used to borrow more than I could handle... but I've learnt haha.

37. How often have you returned books to the library unread?
Many times.

What kind of question is this...? Skip.

39. Favourite fictional villain?
Skip.

40. Books I'm likely to bring on a holiday?
Comics and maybe my chinese novels.

Technically we read everyday, don't we?

'Freedom' and 'The Corrections' by Jonathan Franzen.

43. What distracts you easily when you're reading?
My phone lighting up and people talking.

Olivier Twist.

Percy Jackson.

46. The most money you've spent in the bookstore at one time?
Not going there.

47. How often do you skim a book before reading it?
Once or twice, but when I'm choosing a book, I look at the back cover of it.

48. What would cause you to stop reading a book halfway through?
When I can't get into it or it bores me to death.

Lol confession time. No, because they're always lying at different/random parts of my house.

50. Do you prefer to keep books or give them away once you’ve read them?
Seriously?! Duh, keep them!!

Um, not really.

Some parts of 'The Interestings'. But in a good way.

The Percy Jackson series lol.

Some book by chinese writer 'Giddens'.

Comics again haha.

Lol.
Okay this journal has been empty for a long time now and I figured that I should actually put up more posts.
Reasons why I’ve created this blog but haven’t posted anything is because half the time I have no idea what to write about and procrastination is my nemesis so...forgive me.
